The Hunger Games movie premier is this Friday, the 23rd. The kids are all talking about it so I felt this would be the perfect theme for celebrating National School Library Month(April). We finally finished the bulletin board today and I think it looks awesome! I can’t wait to see what the kids think tomorrow. More activities are in the works including our school’s 1st annual Hunger Games, a mini bow and arrow shooting contest, Hunger Games t-shirts, and a contest with the three book set and Mockingjay pin as prizes. More details coming soon. May the odds be ever in your favor!
We also did the huge picture window in the office with the movie premier posters. We will be using these as prizes in our upcoming contest. The parachutes were such fun!

This display is amazing! Thank you so much for posting it.
Thank you! We had such a good time designing and putting it up. The positive response from the kids has been awesome!

How did you do the letters with the book cover background?
I used Publisher 2010 to create these. You can find the directions on the page below under “Add or change a fill for text in WordArt”. Hope this helps! http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word-help/add-or-delete-a-fill-outline-or-effect-for-text-or-wordart-HA010355844.aspx
